How Often Should You Book? A Simple Schedule for Nails and Lashes

Sarang Nails & Beauty · · 4 min read

One of the kindest things you can do for yourself is to stop guessing when to rebook. Most beauty services have a natural cycle tied to how your body grows — follow it and you always look fresh, skip it and you end up either overdue or paying for visits you didn't need. Here's the cadence we recommend at Sarang.

Manicures: every 2–3 weeks

Shellac and gel manicures look their best for two to three weeks before regrowth at the cuticle becomes visible. Regular polish is more of a weekly treat. Booking around the three-week mark keeps your hands looking intentional rather than grown-out.

Pedicures: every 4–6 weeks

Toenails grow more slowly and are protected by shoes, so pedicures stretch further — every four to six weeks is plenty for most people. In sandal season you might come in more often; in winter, a deluxe or honey-milk pedicure every six weeks keeps dry skin in check.

Nail extensions: refills every 2–3 weeks

Acrylic, gel, and BioGel sets need a refill every two to three weeks to fill in the regrowth at the base. Staying on schedule is cheaper than a new full set and keeps the extension structurally sound.

Lash extensions: fills every 2–3 weeks

You naturally shed a few lashes every day, so extensions thin out gradually. A fill every two to three weeks replaces what you've lost and keeps the set looking full. Past about four weeks, you'll usually want a fresh full set instead of a fill.
